This past weekend, Jason and Dan spent about 5 hours each hoeing weeds manually and also running our Bed Shaper (turned into a cultivator) through the field for the 2nd time. We were able to drop the S tines deeper, we moved the outside disks about 2 inches wider. This helped us to be able to travel on a gear faster, 2 of 12 on the AC 6080 and have a little less work removing mulch that was pushed up onto the garlic plants. Beds were light and fluffy after finishing with loose soil about 4-5 inches down on top. On Sunday night we received about 1/2" of rain at the farm, which should be making the garlic smile!
