Simply put, it's been wet!
According to the local newspaper writer Debie Foss (Trempealeau County Times), the 2016 growing season was the wettest year on record... that is, until 2017... Last year we received over 49 inches of rain, which broke the previous record of 44.75 inches, which was set in 1968...
So far this year, we've had at least 15.32 inches of rain so far this year, which shattered the previous record to this point set in 1973...
It's been so long, I can't remember what the sun looks like! Hoping to see it this week!
